About Me

Hi my name is John and I am from St Day in Cornwall, and in the past few years I have taken up drawing and painting in my spare time. I have started this blog because I wanted a platform to display my work so that my family, friends, and any others interested to look can enjoy my work, and the pleasure that it gives me.

I painted when I was at school, then in the 70's I got into the customising of cars and started Airbrushing images on cars which was very popular then. Then along came a family, and as often in these cases art took a back seat until these past couple of years.

The inspiration to start drawing again has been the addition of grandchildren within the family, this started me wanting to draw and paint them, this has prompted an interest to take it up again after so many years idle.
